Current laws addressing the ownership of Moon Real Estate on Earth's Moon
The current United Nations (UN) International Space Law Treaty prohibits ownership of Moon land and/or any planets in our Solar System. The UN placed this treaty "en-force" in 1984 after only 13 countries signed and adopted it.
